One little trick-or-treater finds a haunted house more haunted than he could have imagined. Another brings her new friend a grisly treat. Candy-hunting children meet all sorts of macabre ends in the watercolor comic series "The Last of the Trick-Or-Treaters."

Google Styled Buttons With Dropdown Support

Bruce Galpin is sharing a framework of good-looking and Google+ styled buttons in his blog.

The buttons can use text, images or both inside them and comes with the high-quality icon set created by WebDesignShock.

As the icons have both standard and active state versions, buttons respond well to hovering them.

There is also a drop-down menu buttons version provided which is handy for presenting multiple options while still being in harmony with the rest of the buttons.

Being Henry - Interactive Movie from Range Rover

Being-henry

Being Henry

This interactive video is an interesting spin on choosing custom options for a car. Slick production values make it entertaining for a few minutes but to me, it feels very disconnected from the product that it's been built to promote.

The interactivity started me thinking about games like Heavy Rain or LA Noire - perhaps the future will see these formats move closer together to create a new interactive, live-action/CGI entertainment format.

Whilst Being Henry is a kind of on-rails, choose-your-own-adventure, there is still something compelling about performances from real actors - something which Rockstar have worked very hard to capture in LA Noire but despite the quality of the digital actors, it is still recognisably a computer game rather than a movie.
